Egg & Cress is a music catering service that combines exceptional sampling knowledge, production expertise and exhilarating live performances, to form a delicious new way to enjoy your daily meals of music. Blending traditional dub mixing techniques with modern approaches to creative music production, your tympanic membrane will be left tingling. They put their own spin on classics. Through exquisite mashups, vibrant remixes spiced with unique new flavours and a pinch of Hip Hop swagger, Egg & Cress have constructed the most exclusive dining experience for the audio connoisseur.

Consisting of four young producers from Bristol, they came to life through a shared belief that there are just not enough musical meal deals out there. They saw the lack of quality sound-food being offered to the public and seized the opportunity to reinvent the idea of the ‘meal deal’. As revolutionaries, they began to redesign their lives, attempting to grasp what it must be like to live as a washed up celebrity. They took on new personas and began to operate only under the covert names of Keefy Chegz, Dez Lennis, Oi Joybison and Lionel Vinyl, specialising in the fields of Ableton Button Basher, Scratch Operations Manager, Space Echo Astronaut and Chief Engineer Officer. Tools at their disposal include; Ableton Live 9, Technics 1210s, a Pioneer DJM600, a Mackie 1402 mixing desk, various hardware FX pedals, microphones and a potato masher… For the highly unlikely event they need an emergency mash up!
